When I'm Gone"
[Introduction] Yeah... It's my life... My own words I guess... [Verse 1] Have you ever loved someone so much, you'd give an arm for? Not the expression, no, literally give an arm for? When they know they're your heart And you know you were their armour And you will destroy anyone who would try to harm 'her But what happens when karma, turns right around and bites you? And everything you stand for, turns on you, despite you? What happens when you become the main source of her pain? "Daddy look what I made", Dad's gotta go catch a plane "Daddy where's Mommy? I can't find Mommy where is she?" I don't know go play Hailie, baby, your Daddy's busy Daddy's writing a song, this song ain't gonna write itself I'll give you one underdog then you gotta swing by yourself Then turn right around in that song and tell her you love her And put hands on her mother, who's a spitting image of her That's Slim Shady, yeah baby, Slim Shady's crazy Shady made me, but tonight Shady's rocka-by-baby... [Chorus] And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain Just smile back And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain Just smile back... [Verse 2] I keep having this dream, I'm pushin' Hailie on the swing She keeps screaming, she don't want me to sing "You're making Mommy cry, why? Why is Mommy crying?" Baby, Daddy ain't leaving no more, "Daddy you're lying "You always say that, you always say this is the last time "But you ain't leaving no more, Daddy you're mine" She's piling boxes in front of the door trying to block it "Daddy please, Daddy don't leave, Daddy - no stop it!" Goes in her pocket, pulls out a tiny necklace locket It's got a picture, "this'll keep you safe Daddy, take it withcha'" I look up, it's just me standing in the mirror These fuckin' walls must be talking, cuz man I can hear 'em They're saying "You've got one more chance to do right" - and it's tonight Now go out there and show that you love 'em before it's too late And just as I go to walk out of my bedroom door It's turns to a stage, they're gone, and this spotlight is on And I'm singing... [Verse 3] Sixty thousand people, all jumping out their seat The curtain closes, they're throwing roses at my feet I take a bow and thank you all for coming out They're screaming so loud, I take one last look at the crowd I glance down, I don't believe what I'm seeing "Daddy it's me, help Mommy, her wrists are bleeding," But baby we're in Sweden, how did you get to Sweden? "I followed you Daddy, you told me that you weren't leavin' "You lied to me Dad, and now you make Mommy sad "And I bought you this coin, it says 'Number One Dad' "That's all I wanted, I just want to give you this coin "I get the point - fine, me and Mommy are going" But baby wait, "it's too late Dad, you made the choice "Now go out there and show 'em that you love 'em more than us" That's what they want, they want you Marshall, they keep.. screamin' your name It's no wonder you can't go to sleep, just take another pill Yeah, I bet you you will. You rap about it, yeah, word, k-keep it real I hear applause, all this time I couldn't see How could it be, that the curtain is closing on me I turn around, find a gun on the ground, cock it Put it to my brain and scream "die Shady" and pop it The sky darkens, my life flashes, the plane that I was supposed to be on crashes and burns to ashes That's when I wake up, alarm clock's ringin', there's birds singin' It's Spring and Hailie's outside swinging, I walk right up to Kim and kiss her Tell her I miss her, Hailie just smiles and winks at her little sister Almost as if to say.. [Chorus/Outro] And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain Just smile back And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain Just smile back...
We Live in A Beautiful World.
在L.A.
God!
Damn It!
Really A Harsh Warning!!!
Little Angle said Daddy, I'll Protect You.
I'll Protect You. 2006/4/15 Have A Nice Day!
HAVE A NICE DAY!

Bear A Charmed LifeBear A Charmed Life
I KNOW I BEAR A CHARMED LIFE
>_<

After Scarlet's Walk, Tori Amos' 2002 ambitious sonic travelogue that took her to all 50 states, penning love letters to America along the way, the fiery earth-sprite has fashioned another high-minded concept album, tying her 19 songs--and one not-so-hidden track--into a garden motif that's part a retelling of Alice In Wonderland, another A Little Shop of Horrors. The Beekeeper chronicles her rather autobiographical protagonist's journey through what seems to be an overgrown labyrinth of the subconscious as she experiences a series of life-altering events and emotions. In addition, living in Cornwall for the past decade has certainly had an effect on Amos, she even takes inspiration from Daphne Du Maurier's classic novel Jamaica Inn, which takes place on that rugged seacoast, but the greatest change is the grit in her voice; on a song like "Hoochie Woman," she sounds like she's channeling Chrissie Hynde--a welcome change from some of the preciousness of her earlier work. She also surprises with the steely, eloquent resolve on a song like "Goodbye Pisces" one of the better break-up songs in recent memory. The Beekeeper returns the quirky singer to the same whimsical terrain of 1992's Little Earthquakes, but with much stronger storylines, and a much more assured and nuanced voice. Her best yet.---Jaan Uhelszki CD: Disc 1
01. Parasol (3:55) ★★★☆☆
![]() "I saw a painting by Seurat - Seated Woman With A Parasol - in a book on Impressionism. I was drawn to it and I started to think about Victorian women and then some women today, the type of women who don't want to intimidate their partner and so allow themselves to become reduced so the other person can feel confident."
-- Tori; Tori Amos: Piece by Piece I: Men are often described negatively in your stories. Is there no divineness in them?
TORI: I think the man is as divine as the woman. But I can only go from my own perspective and own experiences. The masculine divineness is pretty ok. Like in the song 'Parasol'. Here a woman has to fight for her way of life. And it's not about a war against terrorists, but a war against a friend, a lover, or a colleague. He doesn't want to respect the choices she makes, the evolution she goes through or the freedom she seeks. He wants to attack her on every level and tries to put her down. This is the problem she has to deal with. -- Tori; OOR Magazine (Dutch), Mar 2005 02. Sweet the Sting (4:14) ★★★☆☆
"Elixirs and Herbs is a place that the passion that this woman has for her beliefs or the man that she loves, for the direction that humanity is going, is very much where she is exploring and allowing herself not only to heal what are wounds, but to allow her wounds to express themselves and this doesn't always have to be a place of victimization this sometimes is a place of being able to confront something that is out of balance and it is an ancient practice that the Bee shaman have been working with for thousands of years they work with a tradition that forces you to look at those places that may need to be stung and there's a song on this record in the Herbs and Elixirs garden called Sweet The Sting and in order for you or I to gain the sweetness, wisdom does not come without the sting."
-- Tori; The Beekeeper Limited Edition Bonus DVD 03. The Power of Orange Knickers (3:35) ★★★☆☆
"There is a song called The Power of Orange Knickers that really kind of explores the idea of the word 'terrorist'. So I put on a pair of orange knickers one morning and I decided if I am going to stalk the idea of a terrorist without having an idea of what one was then I am going to need my orange knickers. And as I started to walk over to the piano I started to think about words that rhymed with 'terrorist' and the song kept drawing me in, and drawing me in deeper and deeper and deeper and it said yes it is easy to see the enemy if it is in another country. It's easy to see the enemy in another culture. Find the enemy in your own culture. Then find the enemy in your own being. And she's there. We all have this part of ourselves that will choose to obliterate an idea instead of negotiating with it, because it takes great skill to negotiate with ideas, it doesn't take a lot of skill to obliterate, unfortunately. It doesn't sound like this one the record, but just alone here with us the essence is (plays orange knickers). ..and it goes on and I began to understand how the opposites, if they don't have understanding and a respect for one another, and hold it into balance, then the whole thing begins to bring chaos."
-- Tori; The Beekeeper Limited Edition Bonus DVD 04. Jamaica Inn (4:02) ★★★★☆
"There's a song Jamaica Inn that I wrote as I was driving along the cliffs in Cornwall on a 'beautiful' English day. And all of a sudden the gales started to come in. My mind started to wander and I pulled over on a cliff. I started to think about the story that I'd been told by some of the locals. When a ship would run a ground the wreckers would come in and take everything. I started to think about this story that was taking over my car in that moment. Jamaica Inn walked into my Saab and she said, 'You might not like my story because I'm not gonna tell you how it ends yet. You need to travel it with me and we're going to have to explore your deepest fears.' What always stops me is betrayal. And what scares me is if I betray someone."
-- Tori; Diary Entry @ Toriamos.com Diary Entry:
Jamaica Inn Autumn Equinox: September 22, 2004. Light and Dark = Equal parts. We move into a state of perfect balance today. As much Light As much Dark The house is buzzing. A new cycle is in motion and we have chosen to move with it. Dunc will be lighting the candles for tonight. The house will be alight waving to the beautiful darkness outside. Animal totems will be chosen for the season - until Winter Solstice. We will have the carved animal totem representations made by artist from all over the South West. Once chosen, we reference the animal wisdom from the book, Animal Speak, by Ted Andrews or the Animal Medicine cards by Jamie Sams. Mabon. Today. The witches day of giving thanks. The harvest that has come in. Whatever that is. Gathering in and getting rid of that which will not serve me in the coming months. Donating items that have served their purpose and can serve another purpose for someone else now. Natashya is donating her bottles to a baby yet to be born… Her bottles have been around the world with her. It was a constant and now she seems ready to let them serve and comfort a “ twinkle in the sky “ that is about to be born. Tash believes, at this time, that children are first “twinkles in the sky“ before they are born. She also has believed that when “you“ die you then become a “twinkle in the sky.” So tonight as Dunc is preparing mulled wine for those in the house and those visiting, Tash will be preparing warm soy milk in a teapot with all kinds of different tea cups to choose from. Very’ Alice in Wonderland’ - and why not… The Gales are blowing outside with an eerie howl. Mark and Marcel are getting “Jamaica Inn“ up on the board. This is the sort of day that inspired the creating of that song - from the writing, to the tracking with Matt and Jon to the backgrounds which will be put down within a few hours. Mac Aladdin will then add some Mandys. What our leading female character has to confront is harrowing in a sense… It has been months since I wrote the above thoughts. It is now the week of the Chinese New Year - Year of the Rooster. But Mardi Gras day and Pancake day, Shrove Tuesday, arrive where I sit first, signalling the observation of Lent. It’s been almost a year now since I got caught in the gale storm somewhere in North Cornwall and Jamaica Inn came down and sat next to me in the passenger seat of my Saab." 05. Barons of Suburbia (5:02) ★★★☆☆
"Barons of Suburbia is taking on the behavior of the Barons, that they've taken on the patriarchy and their ideology. Whether you're looking at certain governments or certain relationships, we go back to the personal and the political always."
06. Sleeps with Butterflies (3:35) ★★★★★
07. General Joy (4:12) ★★☆☆☆
"The Desert Garden is very much about the crossroads. It's a place where you must make choices, grave choices. This is where are garden of sensuality differs from the Garden of Eden because in a place where the creator is the feminine scribe telling the story, the bard, in our book of genesis, in our 'In the beginning' we as women were encouraged to eat from the tree of knowledge because that is how we could help our pride and our tribe and if we don't then will would be subservient and unequal to the male and therefore cannot help him and cannot serve the pride. As a songwriter and someone who chronicles time, um, I have to feel the pulse of what is current. I was able to include General Joy on the record because I wrote it, um, in July 2004 and recorded it and it was relevant then and it is relevant again now. We are still at war, as of this taping and General Joy is very much a current figure. Or not because there are not a lot of Generals that we would call General Joy and that is the point. General Joy has lost his boys and they have been left behind, he needs a solder girl now that liberty has been gagged."
-- Tori; The Beekeeper Limited Edition Bonus DVD 08. Mother Revolution (3:58) ★★☆☆☆
"Mother Revolution is core. Because the album centers very much around this idea that in order for there to be a continuance of life for the next generation, and the next generation, and the next generation the songs began to speak about if the masses didn't choose to listen to the needs of the next generation then the mothers would need to make a choice which was were the mothers ok about sending their sons off to a war that they may not believe in and I began to understand an internal revolution that is more powerful than thousands of solders, that there is an artillery of the soul and a resolve that I have seen in a concerned mother. The masters have spoken about the complexity of the hives that love living in the orchards I was drawn to it mainly because of the vine and the fruit and the transformation of life. Becoming a mother has brought me my greatest teacher. She is four and we're in communication, we're in harmony, we're in a balance of mother and daughter not me as the authority or her as the precocious child who is totally in control, which is true sometimes, but when we're in balance, we are sharing this dance this sonic dance that the songs have been trying to show me since I was little, but she through her, her music is beginning to show me. And that lives in The Orchard along with the Tree of Knowledge."
-- Tori; The Beekeeper Limited Edition Bonus DVD I’ve thought about this a lot since I had my daughter and what I find really disturbing about this global war, is you don’t see any of the world leaders sending their children to be butchered. It’s always someone else’s children, someone else’s blood. In Mother Revolution the woman realises she cannot fight the patriarchy in the way that they fight and she can’t just turn her back either. In order to be effective she has to come up with a new solution. And sometimes the best solution isn’t to throw a bomb at a balloon, it's to pop the balloon with a kitty heel!"
-- Tori; Uncut.com, Mar 2005 09. Ribbons Undone (4:30) ★★★★☆
"Ribbons Undone is a song that really I guess explains a mother's love, and a fathers love for their daughter. They see their little girl running in the field with their ribbons flying and they're like little flashes of lightning that go by especially when you are in the back field her and you can run and run and run and run and catch butterflies thinking that you can fly like one.
I was watching Tash run and I started to remember something my mother said to me, she told me years ago. We would look in a mirror and she said 'this woman that I see that you see, this old woman, wrinkled woman, is a stranger to me.' I said 'You are the most beautiful woman I know' and she said that's, don't get distracted by what I am telling you. She said 'That is a stranger to me. Inside I'm running. Inside my legs can carry me. I don't have a heart condition I'm not someone who is in a wheelchair. I am someone who catches the butterflies in my minds eye.' And when I watched my daughter running, I saw my mother. And I began to understand that this case is a distraction sometimes and it tricks us because it can start making us believe that we are old of sprit, not just that the violin case is beat up, but you can begin to believe that the violin has no music to play anymore and that is where you have to go to the tree of knowledge and I tasted my mothers wisdom looking in that mirror. And I see her running now. And my mother will always be running, next to Tash, together hand in hand, and Ribbons Undone is something that I can see myself running along side them." -- Tori; The Beekeeper Limited Edition Bonus DVD I: Ribbons Undone was obviously inspired by your daughter. Did having a child change your music? TORI: It's hard to put my finger on it. I think that there is a playfulness that has emerged since I became a mom. I love being a woman and I must say I've never loved being a woman as much as I do now. I'm 41, and I'm loving it. Being a mom healed a lot of wounds. Natashya kicked a lot of demons away when she came out. Kids are able to strike where no-one else can, with the things they say, but they are also able to mend and heal where no-one else can. 10. Cars and Guitars (3:44) ★★★★★
Do you ever screaming in a car just having an argument, reliving an argument? Why didn't I say that? Why is he so stupid? Why can't he understand …mrrrph! And you go, 'What is it going to take, what language is it going to take for us to communicate on this issue?' So I decided what is the language that this guy understands. So I became a car….one with a stick. That he can put his hands on, and maneuver, and he can polish my rims, and he can step inside me and feel himself become manly, and have a conversation with this car and then I decided that I could also become a guitar. And he could pick me up and play me. And I could listen to what he is trying to say. And if I could just change my shape we could maybe get through this because it never was the cars and guitars that came between us."
-- Tori; The Beekeeper Limited Edition Bonus DVD 11. Witness (6:03) ★★★☆☆ "I don't necessarily see it as barren, The Rock Garden, and I think the songs, um, take us into a place that I certainly didn't expect. There are little surprises that I find all the time. There is a song called Witness, the gospel choir is on that, and we go back to the Gnostic Gospels and the text talking about being a witness and did you witness Christ teaching. And I started to think about judge and jury and I started to think about crimes against humanity, against each other, stripping it away to a very personal place of crime and the gospel choir becomes very much the jury."
-- Tori; The Beekeeper Limited Edition Bonus DVD 12. Original Sinsuality (2:02) ★★★☆☆
"The Beekeeper really explores the story from the creative mother's perspective, because we know from the bible the creative father's perspective and in this garden we do not call this the "Garden of Original Sin" we call this "The Garden of Original Sinsuality" you will see when you open up the album, The Beekeeper, which songs live in which gardens and you can take a journey with them. They are their own Garden of Eden, they are their own shape. It is a sonic shape so it is not a physical space. This is a place where male or female can enter its, um, not just emotions of a woman. We all experience disappointment and we all experience transformation and we all experience passion, even if it is not passion for another human being but passion is an essence in itself."
-- Tori; The Beekeeper Limited Edition Bonus DVD I: It’s interesting you've written a song about sin and sensuality when the biggest moral debates in the US are about abortion and gay rights...
TORI: America is such a land of extremes. On the one hand, you have this puritanical ideology that lots of people have adopted and on the other you have a huge porn industry that exploits everybody and makes lots of money. The thing that’s missing from both is sensuality and I think that’s the sign of a damaged society. It’s not healthy for sex and sexuality to always be portrayed as dirty or depraved and what it takes to turn people on sometimes shocks me. There are a lot of damaged women out there who can’t respond unless they take on another character because they haven’t been taught they can just be a worker bee. I’m a worker bee and I love being a worker bee. 13. Ireland (3:47) ★★★★☆
I like my Saab.
I like Ireland. We were gathering there for a few weeks in the summer. Strange occurrences happen there. Maybe because the veils are thin. I look up on the hills that surround me and I am mesmerized. All the hassles of daily life freeze their chattering head (aches) as I sit. Drawn into a different kind of drumming that I, strangely enough, can hear. It is faint. But it is hypnotising. I look up and You could say someone has taken a paint brush so that I can barely make out the contour of bodies, the etching of a hero's physique. A hero from Munster being welcomed back in this tribal ceremony---- where beauties of all shapes and sizes sway to the drumming that has now joined with a haunting sound. Distant chanting that is warming the fires. I am not warm or cold. A bard by the fire regales the feats of the last many, many days. He is there. I breathe him in. The festivities of the Tuatha De Danann go into the night. Through the open windows of my room, I can look out on these hills. Sometimes they are quiet and simply act as a blanket for the house and for anyone who comes here to rest, or to write. Ellie smiles as Dunc puts the kettle on. Fresh herbs from the garden mingle, making conversation in porcelain. I leave Ellie and Dunc and a Pomerol Chateau Moulinet in the Kitchen. The stairs carry me back to my open window. I curl up in my duvet and am rocked to the place where our senses are awake. I dream myself awake. The bard reaches for the elements. From ether, From fire. He seduces me with his story. The Tuatha De Danann break camp at dawn. I write this as another promo day begins in the land of Runes and of longboats - longboats that long ago made the Emerald Isle their destination. I don't have a longboat but I do have a Saab. -- Tori; Diary Entry @ Toriamos.com 14. The Beekeeper (6:49) ★★★☆☆
"The Beekeeper is based on this woman who eats from the Tree of Knowledge" explains Amos. "She's all women - 'Woman.' Sophia, who was the Mother of God in the Old Testament, advises her that if she's eats from the Tree, she'll attain wisdom and open her life to new emotions and experiences, the songs captures her journey from passion to enlightenment."
-- Tori; Diva Magazine (UK), Mar 2005 "All these soldiers in Iraq are sons of mothers. These mothers get told that their sons have to sacrifice their life for our Christian beliefs, for peace, and only after making this sacrifice you live like a real Christian. Just like God sacrified his only son for the sins of humans. I think God and Jesus feel betrayed by these sort of quotes. Mary, Magdalene, and Mother Earth try to contact us women... 'We need you!' My character in the song The Beekeeper tries to contact 'Sofia', mother of God, and asks her how she can change the world. Sofia tells her that Eve asked her the same question in the past, and tells her to do the thing she is prohibited to do by her son, and that's to eat from the forbidden fruit. 'Only then will you see how I look at the world and humanity.' And so it goes that every song on the album is a forbidden fruit in each garden." -- Tori; OOR Magazine (Dutch), Mar 2005 15. Martha's Foolish Ginger (4:21) ★★☆☆☆
"I've got one song I've just finished which only had a title - Martha's Foolish Ginger - and a chorus: If those harbour lights had just been half a mile inland who knows what I would have done. I've actually been working on this song for eight years but couldn't figure out how to finish it. Then I suddenly realised the title was the name of her boat. And with that it was liberated, unlocked and everything came clear."

18. Marys of The Sea (5:08) ★★☆☆☆
"When you speak of Roses and Thorns, the paradox within one beautiful flower. The marriage of a male and female the crown of thorns with Jesus and Mary Magdalene being known as the rose I thought that all of us at some time in our live experience a sacred marriage of sorts. I truly wanted there to be, in the garden, a place for union.
In all of us there is a love. In all of us there is another piece, a mirror piece. Yes within, of course you have to fine your own twin flame within your being, but there is someone, and someone it is more than one person that you go into sacred marriage with and I explore it in different songs on this record especially Marys of the Sea. Which is about her journey out of Jerusalem and fleeing and once she gets to the south of France she takes on a ministry herself. The Gospel of Mary Magdalene is something that I had herd about but hadn't read until I was much older. My mother, a minister's wife read it for the first time very recently and she looked up with tears streaming down her face and she took my hands in hers, and her name is Mary, and she said "Darling. Why? Oh Why? Has this been kept from me my whole life I'm not someone who isn't exposed to literature particularly Christian literature, my mother was a literature major and she said yet this is something that has not been available" then I said "Well I think that is the key question. Why two thousand years later would the Gospel of Mary Magdalene be hidden from the masses. Now to me that is the greatest story never told and I explore this greatest story never told in Marys of the Sea. -- Tori; The Beekeeper Limited Edition Bonus DVD 19. Toast (3:40) ★★★★☆

TAKE GOOD REST。
My Lucky Day?
THE UNEXPECTS

Early 1999, two friends (Gustavo and Sineval) in love with Sarah and Creation Records, tired of having nothing to do in their small town, decided to form a band.
A few months later, another friend, Nico, joined the group playing keyboards and guitars. On a cloudy Sunday they chose the bands name: Pale Sunday. Fabricio, who was starting to work in music production, invited the band to record a song under his production. Pale Sunday released (only in Brazil) the tape single Dreamscape (Amy Records) including the songs A star will shine and Rainy day. 2000 was a year of changes, Nico left the group. Gustavo and Sineval were studying and working all the time so that they couldn't dedicate themselves to the band, and the band was put on hold. In 2001, they regained momentum, composing new songs. Everything starts when you smile and Go ahead were then recorded in Fabricio's home studio and both songs got some excellent reviews after being presented to Indiepop lovers in Brazil. Some months later, in 2002, Pale Sunday completed what would be the band first EP with two other pop hits: the romantic ballad 'Today' and the catchy The girl with sunny smile. This 4 song EP, named 'Everything starts when you smile', was published in a totally independent way and used as a 'promo work'. Pale Sunday's year 2002 had not finished yet! In October, Jimmy Tassos (Matinee Recordings) listened to Everything starts when you smile EP and offered the band the wonderful opportunity of releasing their songs on his own label. In late April of 2003, 'A weekend with Jane', Pale Sunday's debut on Matinee, was out. The tracklist included 3 songs from that independent disc plus the new EP title track. As you may think, Pale Sunday is "officially" a trio again, Fabricio is the "new" member. About Album
Strong debut album from popular Brazilian indiepop band Pale Sunday. The trio turned heads with its 2003 single ‘A Weekend With Jane’ earning acclaim from international music press and comparisons to indie legends Another Sunny Day and Razorcuts plus contemporary bands Brideshead and Aerospace. Since then, the band has contributed covers of Smiths and Sportique songs to Matinée compilations ‘Romantic and Square is Hip and Aware’ and ‘Matinée 50’ while writing and recording the ten new songs for this album. ‘Summertime?’ has all the essential POP! ingredients…jangling guitars, addictive choruses, tambourines, trumpets, handclaps, sha-la-la's and perfect melodies. Sometimes the guitars get fuzzy in classic shoegaze fashion but in the end the bright shimmering pop songs and spirit of ‘86 take over. The band wears 80s British pop influences on its sleeves but somehow manages to sound completely modern with some of the catchiest songs of the year. In addition to nine English language hits the album features one song in the band’s native Portuguese, which of course is the most beautiful language in the world. Bacana!
